Master, publishing, and writer credits under a single signature. Five artists. Five listening contexts.
01 What we are
480Studios is a small instrumental record label out of Scottsdale, Arizona. The catalog is purpose-built for listening contexts — focus, lo-fi/late-night, sleep, meditation, late-night social — with five resident artists, each tuned to one. It's instrumental by design: no vocals to clear, no lyrics to fight the dialogue, music made to support a scene rather than take it over. Three albums are live now — Field Office's Morning Desk and Last Building Lit, and Sodium Dreams' Sodium Hours — with the full five-artist debut run rolling out through early July. AI-assisted instrumental, mastered for streaming at −16 LUFS, disclosed at every distributor.
Shop480, LLC owns master, publishing, and writer credits on every track. One signature clears any use. No co-writers, no sample chains, no MFN clauses, no artist availability conflicts. If you've ever had a placement die in clearance, you already know why that matters.
02 The Catalog
Each artist is its own sonic world — distinct instrumentation, tempo range, and production signature. Two albums are live now for review, with new releases following weekly through early July. One-stop clearance through Shop480, LLC.
Nine study/focus instrumentals sequenced as a workday arc, from drumless morning-room cues into quieter after-hours pieces. One-stop clearance through Shop480, LLC.
Fourteen lo-fi instrumentals walking a single late night through small-hours city geography — bus shelters, bodegas, fire escapes. Warm, dusty, head-nod. One-stop clearance through Shop480, LLC.
Eighteen after-hours instrumentals — clean Rhodes, broken beats, jazz voicings — sequenced as a four-act arc from late afternoon to going home. One-stop clearance through Shop480, LLC.
03 In Practice
The structural shortcut is that there's only one party to negotiate with. The rest is just the standard sync workflow.
04 Examples of fit
A rough map. The catalog flexes wider than this — these are the obvious starting points.
